Hi, I’m Don

Don Herman

Don started baking and cooking at ten years old, when his mom went back to work and left notes on the stove instead of standing over it herself. Those notes turned into a real education in down-home cooking — the kind you learn by doing, not by watching a screen.

These days, Don's a home baker who loves to experiment, especially with what it takes to make a recipe actually work at 6,000 feet in Denver, Colorado. He's also a traveler, and wherever he ends up, he comes home with a new recipe worth figuring out — the more intriguing, the better.

If you’ve enjoyed this post or recipe, scroll to the bottom and leave me a note or a rating. It really helps me pay the bills! Thanks.
