Ingredients
1 1/2cupsAll-Purpose Flour
1 1/2cupsOld-Fashioned Rolled Oats
1 1/4cupsLight Brown Sugarfirmly packed
1tspBaking Soda
1/4tspSalt
3/4cupButtermelted. 1 1/2 sticks
Frosting
9 ozSemisweet chocolate or chipsIf using squares, chop them into small pieces
5tbspHeavy Cream
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9X13" baking pan
Mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt.
Pour melted butter over flour mixture and stir until well-combined. Spread oat mixture into pan and press down firmly.
Bake the crust until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
While the crust is cooling, prepare the frosting. Melt the chocolate in microwave in 20 second bursts, stirring after each heating until just melted.
Stir in the heavy cream and spread the frosting over the cooled crust.
Chill, covered in the fridge until chocolate is set. Cut into 2.5" squares.
